Peter Way has worked in the steel and protective coating industry for over 30 years. He has been involved in the establishment of several abrasive blasting and protective coating operations and has broad experience in the steel fabrication, manufacturing and protective treatment industry.
As a full time Managing Director of the Company, Peter is involved in all aspects of the business’ production and service commitment to its existing clients, with particular focus on securing new long term clients and identifying new growth areas within the business.
A qualified CPA, Sandra Galea-Bunney has been expertly overseeing Central Coast Metal Protectives’ financial functions since 1992.
Since commencing with Central Coast Metal Protectives in 1995, Bradley Wenzel has worked his way up to becoming an exceptional Workshop Manager. Today Brad works closely with Peter and Mick to ensure the smooth running of the workshop. As an integral part of our customer service division, Brad is also responsible for ensuring every job satisfies strict Quality Assurance requirements prior to despatch.
Co-FoundersCharlie Galea has worked in the abrasive blasting, industrial spray painting and protective metal coating industry since the late 1960’s. His breadth of knowledge and hands on experience is invaluable in an industry that has seen many changes over the years. Charlie continues to maintain a hands-on role acting as a mentor and specialist consultant to the business.
Spiro Galea has been involved in the abrasive blasting, industrial spray painting and protective metal coating industry since the early 1970’s. His earlier experience in the transport industry gave Spiro a heavy vehicle licence as well as an insight into the management of a transportation fleet – experience that has since proven invaluable in the business he and his brother Charlie co-founded in 1978. Spiro continues to maintain a hands-on role acting as a mentor and specialist consultant to the business.
